Our health guarantee outlines the steps we take to ensure the health of our puppies and the support we offer to our buyers.

Veterinary Care and Health Checks

Every puppy from Adorable Rottweilers Home undergoes a thorough veterinary examination before joining their new family. These checks are conducted by a licensed veterinarian and include a full health assessment to ensure each puppy is in excellent condition. This examination covers:

• General physical health (heart, lungs, eyes, ears, and overall body condition).
• Age-appropriate vaccinations according to American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) guidelines.
• Microchipping in compliance with AKC registration requirements and applicable U.S. laws.
• Deworming treatments to protect against parasites.

A detailed health record, including vaccination dates and any treatments administered, will be provided to you when you collect your puppy.

Genetic Health Testing

As responsible breeders, we carefully select our breeding dogs to ensure they meet the highest standards for health, temperament, and conformation. Our breeding dogs undergo genetic testing for hereditary conditions commonly associated with the Rottweiler breed. This includes testing for:

• Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA).
• Hip Dysplasia.
• Familial Nephropathy (FN).
• Other relevant conditions as recommended by veterinary specialists and the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Health Foundation.

By performing these tests, we aim to reduce the risk of genetic disorders and ensure the long-term health of our puppies.

Health Guarantee Terms

We stand behind the health of every puppy we sell. Our health guarantee includes the following terms:

1. Initial Veterinary Examination
   We strongly encourage you to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of bringing them home. If the vet identifies any pre-existing health issues, please contact us immediately. Documentation from your vet will be required to address any concerns.
2. Hereditary Conditions
   We guarantee our puppies against life-threatening hereditary conditions for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. If a hereditary condition is diagnosed within this time frame, you will have the following options:
   • Return the puppy for a full or partial refund (to be discussed based on the situation).
   • Retain the puppy, and we will reimburse reasonable veterinary expenses up to an agreed amount.
3. Health Issues Beyond Our Control
   While we take every precaution to breed healthy puppies, certain health issues, such as injuries or illnesses caused by environmental factors, are beyond our control and are not covered by this guarantee. These include:
   • Accidents or injuries after the puppy leaves our care.
   • Illnesses resulting from improper diet, neglect, or lack of proper veterinary care.
   • Conditions related to over-exercise or improper activity levels during the puppy’s growth phase.

We are committed to supporting you and your puppy long after they leave our care. Whether you have questions about diet, training, or general care, we are here to help. If unforeseen health concerns arise, we encourage open communication so we can work together to ensure the best outcome for you and your puppy.

Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain this health guarantee, we ask our buyers to:

• Provide proper veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, and regular check-ups.
• Feed a high-quality diet suitable for the breed and age of your puppy.
• Avoid excessive physical activity during the puppy’s growth phase (a common guideline is five minutes of exercise per month of age, per session).
• Keep your puppy in a safe, loving, and clean environment.

Limitations of the Guarantee

This health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer. It does not cover costs associated with routine maintenance, such as vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, or regular wellness exams. Additionally, this guarantee does not cover cosmetic or non-life-threatening issues, such as minor dental misalignments or breed-typical conditions like occasional ear infections.
